Position: Data Engineer – GCP
Duties & Responsibilities:
• BigQuery: partitioning, clustering, materialized views, BI Engine.
• Dataflow for batch and streaming pipelines (Apache Beam).
• Pub/Sub for real-time event ingestion and messaging.
• Cloud Composer (Airflow) for workflow orchestration.
• Dataproc for Spark workloads and Hadoop migrations.
• Dataplex for data governance, cataloging, and data quality.
• Cloud Storage and BigLake for data lake architectures.
• Data Transfer Service and CDC patterns for ingestion.
Experience:
• 3+ years in data engineering with at least 2 years on Google Cloud.
• Delivered 2+ data platform migrations or large-scale pipeline implementations.
• Clear communication skills for client interactions and technical documentation.
